Our Story
Born from the frustration of juggling five different tools
Before building SurgePV, our founding team spent years designing and delivering real solar projects globally — through Heaven Designs, an award-winning solar engineering company based in India with 50+ engineers, trusted by EPC firms across India, Europe, and the US. Every project meant switching between a design tool, a simulation engine, a CAD program for electrical drawings, a spreadsheet for financials, and a presentation tool for proposals.
Five tools. Five licenses. Five sets of manual data entry. Every project took hours longer than it should have.
We built SurgePV to solve our own problem: one solar design software that handles the entire project lifecycle — from satellite-based roof measurement to client-ready proposals with accurate financials.
Today, solar professionals across 18+ countries use SurgePV to design, simulate, engineer, and propose — all without leaving the platform.

Heaven Designs Founded
Keyur Rakholiya, founder of Heaven Designs — an award-winning solar engineering company with 50+ engineers — experiences the tool fragmentation problem firsthand across hundreds of real EPC projects globally.

Idea Takes Shape
After evaluating every solar software on the market, the team decides to build the all-in-one platform they needed.
Early 2025
SurgePV Launches
