NATiVE Solar

NATiVE Solar is one of the longest-running, Texas-owned and operated solar installation companies in the state. The company traces its origins to 2007, when it was founded in the Texas Hill Country as Hill Country EcoBuilders to design and build affordable zero-energy custom green homes. In 2009, the company spun off Hill Country EcoPower to focus on renewable energy system integrations, and in 2012 the two entities merged under the NATiVE Solar brand. Today, the company has offices in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas.

NATiVE Solar holds NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification, a Texas electrical license, a Texas mechanical license, and maintains a BBB A+ rating. The company is a member of the Amicus Solar Cooperative, a national network of values-driven solar providers focused on ethics, quality, and impact. NATiVE’s team has a combined experience of over 1,000 solar projects totaling more than 60 MW of installed capacity across Texas and a dozen other states.

The company installs panels from Mission Solar, REC, and Qcells alongside Enphase microinverters, SolarEdge optimizers, and battery storage from Tesla and Enphase. NATiVE serves both residential homeowners and commercial customers, offering full-service design, engineering, permitting, installation, and ongoing monitoring. The company understands the specific challenges of building solar in Texas, from extreme heat to the ERCOT grid.
